The Alexander County Public Works & Facilities Department will host a Document Destruction Day on Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The event will be held in the Alexander County Administration Building parking lot, located at 621 Liledoun Road in Taylorsville.
Alexander County residents are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity to safely and responsibly dispose of documents containing personal information. Identity theft can jeopardize an individual’s credit, finances, and reputation, and properly shredding sensitive materials is an important step in protecting against fraud.
If you have any questions regarding the Document Destruction Day, please contact the Public Works & Facilities office at 828-632-1101 or e-mail jmitchell@alexandercountync.gov or cziegler@alexandercountync.gov.
