NCACC’s seven steering committees assist its board of directors in setting policy for the association in the areas of agriculture, environment, general government, health and human services, justice and public safety, public education, and tax and finance. Steering committee membership is limited to county commissioners, but county staff and affiliates are welcome to attend meetings as non-member attendees.
Commissioner Yoder also attended the 2023 National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) on November 7-10 in Cleveland, Ohio, along with staff from the Western Piedmont Council of Governments. At the annual training conference, Commissioner Yoder attended sessions on leadership, broadband, recreation, and more.
