The next installment in the 2025 Alexander County Summer Concert Series is set for Saturday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. Dirty Grass Soul will be performing on the Rotary Performance Stage at Alexander County Courthouse Park. The summer concert series continues on July 19, September 6, and September 20.

The June 7th show is co-sponsored by the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center. From the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County, Dirty Grass Soul has entertained audiences across the Carolinas and beyond since their formation in 2011. With a sound that draws much influence from the traditional music of the North Carolina foothills, the band brings a new, refreshed, and re-energized sound to their music that falls somewhere between country, bluegrass, and southern rock, reminiscent of acts like The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band. The July 19th concert will feature the Caribbean Chillers, hailed as Florida’s Favorite Jimmy Buffett Tribute show. The band works hard to make every show an “authentic” recreation of what you would hear and experience at a Buffett concert. The band has performed in Cuba, Cancun, as well as Hawaii and several other US states. View a sample video. This concert is part of Alexander County’s Independence Celebration, which will conclude with a fireworks show at Alexander Central High School at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The September 6th concert will feature Tribute – A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band. Since its founding in 2013 in Atlanta, this eight-piece tribute band has earned a reputation for the authentic Allman Brothers Band sound. Rigged with vintage equipment, they interpret the Allman catalog so that these songs written in the 1960s and 1970s come alive again. View a sample video.

The September 20th concert will feature Eliminator, a ZZ Top tribute band from Chicago. The band has played from coast to coast for more than 30 years, recreating the complete ZZ Top concert experience at festivals, fairs, motorcycle rallies, convention centers, bars, and casinos. From the spot-on reproduction of the classic songs and costumes to the perfectly choreographed show that includes the iconic spinning fuzzy guitars, no other tribute band is as dedicated.
