Mission Statement
The Alexander County Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for prevention activities within Alexander County. These include inspections, investigations, education, and public presentations. Additionally, The Fire Marshal’s Office functions as liaison between the eight county volunteer fire departments and County Government while serving as a resource for each of these departments. The primary goal of this office is to reduce the number of injuries and deaths associated with fire for the residents of Alexander County.
