An employee in this class is responsible for a variety of duties in the management of pretrial program cases. As case manager for pretrial, the employee provides supervision for defendants, conducts interviews, and attends or testifies in court as needed. The successful candidate will also provide case management to the RRS program in the absence of the Director, as well as supervise duties and staff in the Director’s absence.
• An associate’s degree in criminal justice or a human services field and at least three years of case management experience; or
• A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or human services field and at least one year of case management experience; and
• One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid NC driver’s license is required.
• Certification as a Pretrial Service Professional through NAPSA is preferred.
