POSITION: One Stop Worker – Seasonal (multiple positions)
SALARY RANGE: $12/hour
POSTING DATES: July 27, 2020 – August 10, 2020
Description of Work: An employee in this class provides critical services in support of the operation of the County’s early voting sites. Work includes overseeing voting activity at the voting sites while ensuring impartial and professional interaction with the public. Employees must also be able to quickly assess situations and formulate solutions to ensure efficient operations at the voting sites. Work is performed in accordance with established policies and regulations under the general supervision of the Director of Elections. Work will require irregular hours and weekends; the hours will vary depending on location and assigned shift.
Education and Experience: Graduation from high school with any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
Special Conditions: Candidate must not hold any elective office or be a candidate for election; nor hold any office in a state, congressional district, county or precinct political party/organization; nor be the treasurer/manager of such party/organization.
